First time use

Rinse your copper bottle with warm water, fill your bottle with water and then leave for six to eight hours. Do not consume this water. This is an important step to clean your water bottle of any dirt or production residue. This step is also important to activate the copper ions within your bottle.

Ayurvedic practies recommend storing water in copper for at leat 6-8hrs or overnight before consuming. This extended contact between the water and the copper surface allows for the gradual leaching of beneficial copper ions into the water. 

 

Caring for your copper

Rinse your copper bottle with plain water and a mild dishwashing liquid, using a bottle brush to scrub the interior and eliminate any residue. For a more thorough cleaning, a weekly treatment with natural solutions like vinegar and water or lemon juice and salt can help maintain the bottle’s luster and purity.
